The Northwood Area Farmers Market Association was founded in 2008 to bring fresh locally produced and grown food and value added products from local businesses to the community. We hope to help local businesses market their products and promote sustainable agriculture and economic growth. Market dates and hours: Every Tuesday from 3-6 pm from mid-May to early October.
We think it is fair to say that people are well pleased by their farmers markets.In the survey of farmers market patrons, researchers found that the majority of customers spend between $26-50 per market visit, 77 percent travel fewer than 10 miles to their farmers market, and 46 percent shop at their local farmers market once per week.You might even say we love them.
